If you hire a plumbing professional when you do not have the right tools this could save a lot of time and costly mistakes. If you try to save money by hiring a handy man for plumbing you just need to know that they are not insured. If they damage something you better be prepaired to pay for it. |

How to know if you need a new water heater:
The tank is leaking all over, the hot water runs out in less than 25 minutes, the pilot light will not light and if it is in the range of 10-15 years old it should be replaced to prevent more damage.
The toilet needs repair:
The tank has a leak or crack in it, the toilet is constantly running or there is a loud vibration coming from the toilet. |
Preventing sink clogs:
Install a hair catch. These are little wire mesh screens that cover the drain. When soap and hair mix together they can slow down the sink drain quite a bit. This will prevent many sink clogs.
